Hello Mike,
Regret to hear about that. Please let us know whether it is a free version or a paid version of AVG you are using and share a screenshot ( http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot ) of the scan status window. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
You could try to stop the scan to get the results and remove the threats.
Earlier this evening I started a Whole Computer Scan. The scan reached 100% and found 2 threats. Then it moved to "Finishing." Now, it has been stuck at "Finishing" for over 3 hours. What is going on and what should I do?

Thank you for providing the screenshot, Mike.
We see that the scan stops at 100%.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and request you to try repair of AVG Protection once as mentioned in this article: http://avgread.me/1BVxDSY and then perform the scanning.

Hi,
I am using the free version.
Below is the screenshot.
I tried stopping the scan (after taking the screenshot) but nothing happened. As you see from the screenshot, the Pause and Stop buttons are inactive.
