AVG will not install

As this isn't the usual behavior of uninstlalation process, please share us the screenshot of the message that prompts to restart in order to proceed.
However, upon checking our records, we see that you've reached our live support via chat & our colleague has remotely connected to your computer.
During the process, you were suggested to update windows & get back to us. Would you be so kind to let us know if you've updated the windows?

Hi, I have been having problems with AVG Internet Security, I uninstalled it, hoping that re-installation would be simple. However, when I try to install, I am told that as I did not reboot after the uninstall the new installation could not be completed. I have rebooted and tried to install over and over, no luck. 'AVG Help' took remote control and could do nothing help. A week earlier I uninstalled and re-installed without problems. I would be grateful for any help' Thank you/ James Buchanan…
