Which version of Windows OS are you using on your PC? Please check if you are able to open Windows control panel in your PC or not.
Since the last Windows update AVG will not open. How do I remedy this?
Windows10 latest update and I did access Control Panel at your suggestion. AVG had been turned off and and disabled and Windows Defender was turned on. I turned AVG on and Defender off. I still had to use the Apps proceedure to "repair" AVG to fully get it operational. Even during this process the Windows Security Center assured me that I was fully protected. It appears to be working fine now. It appears to have been a Windows Update issue.
