AVG will not update because of computor 'system time' issue

Hi Kishore and Alan ~ thank you for taking time but unfortunately although the time issue has gone away Yahoo is still telling me that I have a privacy error and will not allow me to access my sky email account. The AVG update pop-up box tells me that I have successfully updated but the main AVG control panel now says an update is required for the computor - as the computor is fairly old (so am I ) and I'm still using windows 7 I don't suppose there's much anyone can do but thanks anyway.

Hello Max. Please follow the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1cOKH7I and then try updating AVG program. Please feel free to contact us again should you need any further assistance.

My computor says it needs an AVG update. When I try to update either by 'update now' or 'fix now' I get 2 messages. The first is a full-width screen mesage " Your computor systrm time seems to be inaccurate. This may lead to false data base up-to-dateness reporting. Please correct your system time if possible. This is immediately followed by a pop up box which says 'update completed successfully'
But the update doesn't work or doesn't register and the whole sequence begins again if I try to update again. I have check the time and time settings on the computor which are as they should be.
The outcome of all this is that I cannot log into my sky email - message reads " Your connection is not private - attackers might be trying to steal your information from uk-mg 42 yahoo.com"
and further states 'when trying to connect the website sends back unusual or inaccurate credentials. Either an attacker is trying to pretend to be UK-mg42 or a Wifi sign in scren has interupted the the connection'
The page says to try leaving it for a while - as attackers are not 'full time' but the situation remains this morning and the response from AVG is unchanged - can any one offer any assistance.
Many thanks Max
