AVG will not update or download

Good morning.
7 days ago I contacted AVG because I was getting a warning that my AVG Internet Security (paid for for 2 years) was not up to date. Although I have been running this software for almost a year now.
I tried to update and thaat kept failing, I tried to reinstall and that kept failing too.
When I contacted AVG Help on 3 April 2017 the took control of my computer remotely and tried to cure the problem, they also removed my AVG with the AVG Remover bbut still found they could not update or download a re-instal.
They upgraded my case (case number 04521834) to the highest level of support and said the next level of support would contact me by email.
After 4 days I had still heard nothing so I telephoned them and was told someone would contact me by email within 24hours as I was now 'Priority'.
Here we are now 7 days plus since my initial contact with them and still I have not heard from them.

I would appreciate it if anyone knows how to (a) cure the download / update problm or (b) can  tell me how to get a response from AVG Support.
