AVG will not update

I apologize for the inconvenience. Please check if the program is activated with the license number (AVG > Menu> About> Subscriptions) and showing the correct expiry date 10/6/2018.

Ok, I did all this and the program is now updated, but I lost the zen console. How do I get it back.

Since I curently am sibscribed to both AVG Internet Security and AVG PC Tuneup, would it be possible to convert those two licenses to the unlimited device version?

AVG Internet Security will not update. The program shows an update and it attempts to download but then stops. I have repaired the software and restarted. It still will not update. What next?

I see that the program got corrupted when trying to update the new version. 
I would request you to follow the steps in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product to reinstall AVG Internet Security by running AVG Remover and AVG Clear tool. The current AVG version is 17.8.30.., please reinstall the program to fix the issue.

On AVG Internet Security interface, click on the small 'home' icon present at the top left corner to open AVG management console (AVG Zen).
The icon is not there.

Barry,
I see that your product AVG Internet Security (1 computer). AVG Zen will be available only with the unlimited devices version of AVG programs. Yours is a single computer license.

Thank you for the confirmation about the product activation. Please open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > updates and try to update your  AVG Internet Security. If there is any error message, then please share a screenshot of the error message to assist you further. You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Please be informed that the latest version will not have the "Zen" name on the user interface.
The user interface that you get when you double click on "A VG" desktop icon is the "Zen" which is now called as "AVG management console".
