AVG won't allow Free Address Book To Run

As long as AVG Free Antivirus 2015.0.6140 (with the latest updates) is running I cannot open Free Address Book version 1.7.0.  If I temporarily disable AVG I can open the program, otherwise I cannot.  If I do not turn AVG off before executing Free Address Book, the program will not start and eventually I will get an error message saying:

"Timed out waiting for a program to execute. The command being executed was "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\csc.exe" /noconfig /full.paths @ C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp\x0qbc_7/cmdline".

I had no issues under Windows 8.1. or after installing Windows 10 upgrade initially.  After installing Windows 10 & then installing Free Address Book I could open the program 1 or 2 times without having to turn off AVG but, after that, I could only run the program by turning off AVG.

Free address Book was obtained from Download version 1.10.3 - Contact management software

AVG Licence Number:4UNP2-9KIKJ-VUQU2-A4FLN-QDSPM-J

The solution was relatively simple.  Right click on the AddressBook.exe file in the C:\Program Files (x86)\GAS Softwares\Free Address Book directory, select Properties, click the Compatability tab and then click the box under Compatability Mode.  Click OK to exit and then run Free Address Book.  After closing the program a pop-up window will appear asking if the program runs allright in the Compatability Mode.  Click Yes and all is well.

Thank you for letting us know back, happy to know that your issue is resolved.  Please do not hesitate to get back to us for further assistance with AVG .

Thank you.
