AVG won't install on my computer

Hi there. I tried several times over the past couple of months to install both my paid version and the free Mac version to my computer. I get an error message at the end. I took a screen shot, but I can't figure out how to attach it from my desktop. This is a MacBook Pro (Retina 13-in., early 2015) w/macOS Sierra 10.12.6

Are you getting the error message on the Macbook Pro?

Sorry, guys. As you probably surmise, I'm only semi-computer literate. It says the image of the screenshot is too large.

The message says:

The installation failed.

The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

E, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
