AVG won't remember settings for application rules

I'm sorry, but the remote access to my personal computer is not really acceptable to me. I gave pretty much precise description of what is happening with AVG and I see no reason for installing software to my computer to give you access to it.

Please pass it to you development as Avast, which is basically AVG, has same issue. This is a software issue.

Of course, I know, that I can change it with that setting. But it just resets to default ignoring any setting made!
I have licensed AVG via key.

I would like to ask how should I set permission for application and for it to stay set?
I set a rule in AVG Firewall and next time I launch the app it is reset and asking again! It drives me mad, I click on allow over and over again like mad and it doesn't keep the settings! I tried everything, checked the Remember button, allowed it in Enhanced Firewall screen, I repaired, reinstalled, restarted all PC and AVG and it just keeps asking. Everytime I open Word, it asks me to allow it, I allow it and it asks again next time I launch Word! It's crazy!
My version is up to date 21.10.3213 (build 21.10.6772.706)
Can you please fix this? It's terrible!

Please check if the AVG Firewall is set to smart mode with the below steps:
1. Open AVG Internet Security.
2. Click on Menu and select settings.
3. Under basic protection,select "Firewall".
4. Check for setting "How should firewall treat new apps" click on dropdown & set it to smart mode.

After following the above steps, check if the issue is resolved.
