May I know what is the error that you received for the uninstallation or installation?
This is clearly a bug in the Software installer for Mac OS X 10.12. I believe this can only be fixed by a Software Engineer. Although, I would hope the support team can provide a workaround for manually uninstalling so I can avoid formatting the drive.
Installed AVG, can't run it, uninstall it, or reinstall it.
OS X Sierra - fresh install
