Avg wont uninstall

Hello Arran,
Sorry that the uninstallation failed! You can use AVG Remover tool to completely remove the traces of AVG from your computer.
1. To download the remover tool, please click on this link: http://www.avg.com/ww-en/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdownload.avg.com%2Ffiledir%2Futil%2FAVG_Remover.exe&urlSec=UhT%2BBzZUdTGTfMN%2BMUDefLYjJIc5sr9PT4gwqqdOZLdqTfL1KgHh6k4Nsq3ZpPAN%2FWp9nmon7o%2BnrfxaAPzsIs3B96rh7rHDAC45LuamG4PydD1M4uAMWK598GQNyVA4
2. Select the name of the AVG Program that you want to remove.
3. Your system will be restarted and AVG will be removed.
4. After the restart, delete the AVG Remover folder from C drive.

avg has failed when i try to uninstall it stops part way. how do i get it to succesfully uninstall
