AVG won't work since I installed Windows 10

Hello Tracy,
We regret for the inconvenience caused. Please check whether you have installed any other conflicting applications like McAfee, Avast, Norton etc… on your PC, If so please uninstall the conflicting applications.
If not, please  click this link http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download and run the AVG Remover tool to remove all the traces of the AVG.
1. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
2. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer.
3. After the restart,  manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer.
4. Once uninstalled download the installation file using the link : http://www.avg.com/download to reinstall your AVG program.

I have been getting an error since I installed Windows 10.  I tried "fixing the problem" tab, but it errors out saying I need to contact customer support.  I also tried to uninstall so I could install it again, the same error occurs.  Any suggestions?

Can  you tell me how long the remover tool takes?  It has been working for 20 minutes so far.  I have an error on my screen that says

C:/Program Files (x86)/AVG/Av/avgsysx.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.  Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.  Error status 0xc000012f.

If I click okay on the error box, it beeps and shows up again.

can someone please help me with this?  I have been waiting on this uninstall for over an hour and I need to resolve it so I can work.
