Avg yahoo error handler

Hi John,

Thank you for providing us the screenshots. We request you to check that you have installed only the AVG Secure Safe Add-on only. Please check that you don't have any other Add-on installed like Safe Price or Web TuneUp. If you have installed, please remove them from Control Panel.

Thank you.

Thank you.

When trying to make a purchase on ebay on my desktop pc, before I can make my bid the page changes to avg yahoo error handler, with pic in the search box.

I have noticed that others have experienced this problem, and you have asked what search engines they have registered with their browser. Having experienced this error I removed all search engines other than google, and my browser of choice is firefox.

Please can you advise how to get rid of this error.

Thanks

John Leeson

I have checked my add ons, and have avg web tune up installed, are you saying I should remove this?

When I remove the add on I get the message "AVG Web TuneUp alerts you before you visit dangerous web pages to make sure your identity, your personal information and your PC are kept safe", so the add on seems to be protecting my internet access…

John, If applicable… For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
