Kindly unregister your device from Antitheft and reregister it. Please follow the steps below :
On your device open AVG Antivirus, and then tap Anti-Theft.
Select Anti-Theft Settings.
Turn off Anti-Theft. It redirects to Anti-Theft main page.
Tap on Turn on button again.
You will receive an email with instructions on how to finish the registration.
Visit www.avgmobilation.com. In case you are already logged in, please click Log out in the upper-right corner of the page.
Click AVG My Account, fill in your AVG login name and password, and then click Log in.
Your device will be available on the Remote Management page.
Now check the website your device will be shown and you can locate your device using Antitheft website. We hope this helps!
Hi, I am having the same issue with my Samsung S7, I am assuming this is probably an S7 related issue? I have done the above and checked the mobilisation website thingy and it does work and register that my phone is activated and the shout and locate options work, I didn't try the others as I didn't want to accidentally lock or delete my phone, but it seems to work, just would be nice if the main program on my Laptop showed that it was activated.
I upgraded my AVG to PRO on my Android (Samsung S7 Active). I have AVG Zen and Internet Security on my laptop (HP). My Android tells me the Anti-Theft is active, but the AVG Zen says it is not. I have uninstalled and re-installed the programs on my Android, but AVG Zen still does not recognize that the phone's Anti-Theft is working. Any thoughts?

In this case, I request you to contact our mobile team, please click on the following link ( http://avgclick.me/AVGtechnical ) and fill out your details, select as Android then the name of AVG Program that you installed in your mobile and in description please completely explain about your issue and finally click on Email option. The AVG mobile team will reply back to you via email with a resolution.
