I have installed AVG Zen and began the Scan and repair process in PC tune up, after rebooting, it showed a status of 10% complete and stayed that way for 2 hours. I restarted and again is stayed like this for 3 hours. Eventually, I rebooted and bypassed the start up by using SPACE bar. After researching the issue the only solution I find is to deactivate the disk check! What is the point of paying for a premium service if I have to deactivate a major feature. Very dissapointed with AVG. THERE MUST BE A BETTER SOLUTION OTHER THAN GOING TO NORTON and asking for my money back!

I am glad to see that you was able to solve it.
Unfortunately this issue is in Microsoft scandisk AVG TuneUp just schedule it.
