Dear AVG-Community,
since this weekend my AVG AntiVirus free is asking me for my password. This ocours for example if I want to open the surface of AVG or if I want to scann any files.
I'm using a password to protect some configurations of AVG but scanning files or searching for updates weren't protected. I never needed to give my password before, to do these things.
I'm nor sure if this is a bug or an attack and what to do.
Thanks for your support.
Frederick

Hi Avinash,
I set the password, when I instaled AVG. This was more than one year ago. During that time AVG never asked my for my password, when I want to scann files. Now, it does.
So what's going on here?
Regards Frederick
