Thanks, both of you. I've submitted AVG's software analyzer report with information from those two Dashlane downloads, and have added the Dashlane folder to the exception list.

Hello Ephraim,
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
This should be a false positive.
We request you to submit the threat detected sample to us through this link: http://www.avg.com/submit-sample for further analysis.
Before that please add the Dashlane folder to AVG's exception as mentioned in this article: http://avgread.me/18WB2dg .
Please feel free to contact us if you need any assistance.
I'm running AVE Free and Dashlane's password manager under Windows 7 (SP2). When recent Dashlane updates downloaded, AVGFree said it detected IDP.Program.D1B0A5C0 as a threat and blocked, deleted, or sequestered several components: ns8FA7.tmp, ns90FF.tmp, and what it said was Windows system's taskkill.exe. This happened twice since December 1 (2016). Dashlane support says it's a false positive and that there's no malware associated with their updates, and they've been trying to get AVG/Avast to update the virus database to fix this.
What does the community know about this? If it's really a false positive, what is AVG blocking, deleting, or moving to the virus vault? Etc.
Thanks –
Ephraim, Have a look @ this AVG webpage (http://samplesubmit.avg.com/false-detection). Then also have a look @ this AVG article (http://avgclick.me/AddException).

OK Ephraim, No probs… Bear in mind the extract from the submission link… "Please note that we do not answer back with results as the files are being checked automatically".
