Thanks for the advice but it does not work.
I have had deleted the programme after the desaster happened and can't get it opened again.
Did the windows clean up, but it always comes up with invalid product key.
Not good advertising if that free offer ruins your whole set up of windows, nothing goes!

This looks dodgy!
I took this offer this morning , went through the process and can't open any word or xls file anymore: because of 'side by side configuration'
How can I repair it. Should that happen at all. This programme is not safe!

Hello Willy. Sorry to hear that. I always suggest not to uninstall the AVG program when there is an issue with it. Only if we suggest you to uninstall please go ahead uninstalling it. Do you still have the issue to open any word or xls file?
