My daughter was working on her Windows 7 64 bit laptop when she got a BSOD with a message that said AVGRKX64.SYS was missing or corrupted.  We couldn't get past this message with even a safe mode boot.  Since she needed a document she was working on, I removed the laptop drive and connected it a usb adapter to another computer to read the drive.  I got her document. Everything about the drive seems ok other then it won't boot past the AVG error message.  Is there a way for me to copy another version of the avgrkx64.sys or temporarily disable the AVG boot check process just long enough to reinstall AVG?
