AVG's answer is to blame Microsoft

Keith,
Please accept my apologies with regards to the AVG software not living up to your expectations. The 'few seconds ago" notification on AVG interface is a bug and our developers are working on a fix which will be available soon.

Linda is correct AVG seems to blame Microsoft a lot lately, surely it is up to AVG to make sure the updates are fully compatible with Microsoft before it is released. The previouse version was not perfect but no way as bad as the latest version. Also in there answers to problems they keep  advising to click Repair AVG when they know or should do it does not work for these problems. Linda and a lot of us have already said it does NOT work.

Hello Linda,

I regret for the inconvenience. We are aware of this issue and have already escalated to the developer team for a new update. The new update will soon be released which will fix all this issue related to AVG. You can also try to run AVG repair(avgclick.me/RepairAVG) from your computer control panel and check if that fix this scan issue.

AVG have finally sent me an email updating me on all the issues I have had after the Update knocked me offline and the Dashboard is stuck on a few seconds ago and the scheduled scan does no longer run automatically and the Progress Bar does not work with automatic scheduled scans anyway!!

Yes folks, you've guessed it right..................... the email I've received back yesterday from AVG states that it's Microsoft causing the problems not AVG. and suggested I (and probably millions of other  AVG users with the same issues) contacted  Microsoft instead!!

Just can't believe it............... anyhow my subscription is up for renewal in November so I am thinking that if none of the above issues I have with AVG have been put right, I shall be finding Protection elsewhere.

Karthikeyan,  I have replied to an email last sent from Marselluha (apologies if i have spelt it wrongly) who states it is a Microsoft problem  and you are saying it is an AVG problem and ALL will be fixed with the next Update.  So, which is it… Microsoft or AVG???
