Hello Jeroen. Please let us know the name of the product that you have installed in your system to assist you further. Thank you. Kishore, AVG Customer Care.
I've deleted my installation by the remover and installed the 64-bit full install. Just a few minutes after installation, the problem starts over again.
I ran procmon.exe again, and see the same things. All the redirected folders are being copied to the C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Avg2015\temp folder and scanned.
This eats my spu completely. The only way to make my computer workable is to remove as much data from a redirected folder to an normal network share.
Please help.
Right now I'm using the free version of AVG 2015 version 2015.0.6081.
According to AVG I've installed the following components:
AVG Advies,
Anti-rootkit
Anti-Spyware
Antivirus,
Identity Protection,
PC Analyzer
Resident Shield
I did not install emailprotextion.
My Operating System is Windows 7 64-bit SP1 on a Intel Core2 Dua P8700 with 6GB of RAM.
Hello,
Since I installed AVG, avgsrva.exe takes 100% cpu for a few minutes. Waits one minutes and takes 100% cpu again. I've researched the problem and found the cause. However I'm still looking for the solution.
My situation (part of the problem):
- Private computer connected to a NAS.
- Redirected folders (desktop, download, my documents and so on) to a networkshare. The only one that has acces is my account.
- avgsrva.exe copies every file to C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Avg2015\temp and (extracts it) and scans it.
- When its done with every file on my redirected folders, it waits around 70 seconds and starts al over again.
Thanks to this behaviour AVG is almost a no-go for me right now.
How do I solve this behaviour?

Jeroen, You could try removing AVG by downloading & using the 64bit 2015 Remover (http://www.avg.com/ww-en/utilities) [Scroll Down]. Then re-install by downloading & using the full 64bit install file from this webpage (http://free.avg.com/ww-en/download-free-all-product).
