AVGSvc.exe starts doing something everytime I load my PC

Today it is still running - more than 1 hour.

Hello, since 1-2 weeks anytime I load my Windows (XP), the process AVGSvc.exe starts doing something (I don't see updating ot scanning when I click AVG) for 5-10-20 mins, today even more, it is very annoying.

Any idea?

I have restarted and it is still running - how can I stop it? it consumes 15-35 % CPU.
