AVGUI.EXE Application Error AVG Antivirus Free 2016

Dear sir / madam,

Recently my AVG AntiVirus Free 2016 program was automatically updated to build version 7357. Since that version was installed the forementioned problem does not occur anymore. So, I don't know which issues were all solved in this new version but anyway it looks that my problem has now been solved. So you can close this case record. Many thanks for all your help.

Kind regards,
Alje Bakker

Dear sir / madam,
Recently I upgraded my AVG Antivirus Free 2015 to AVG Antivirus Free 2016. Since that moment I get an avgui.exe application error when I want to exit the screen "Scan Results" (Options-History-Scan Results). The error message is "The instruction at 0x00049ee0 referenced memory at 0x00000030. A read- or write- operation on the memory failed: read. Click on OK to terminate the program." All other screens in "History" like "Resident Shield detection", "Identity Protection detection" etc. gives no problem. I have tried to remove (with AVG Remover) AVG Antivirus Free and reinstall again but still no solution of this problem. My PC is a Windows 7 machine 32-bit. Can someone tell me what is going wrong? Many thanks.
Kind regards,
Alje Bakker

Dear sir / madam,
On 13/12/2015 I got an email from you wherein you asked for a screenshot of the error message. I answered your email with a screenshot on 14/12/2015. On 19/12/2015 I send you an email again because there was no response from you. In that email I included again the sreenshot of the error message. Again no response from you, so I send you an email again on 22/12/2015 also with screenshot. Untill this day I have heard nothing from you. All those emails I send to support@help.avg.com (mailto:support@help.avg.com). I think you can imagine that I am a little disapppointed at this moment. Can I get an answer from you now?

Many thanks for your offer. However, a few weeks ago I also reported this problem to AVG. At that moment we got remote assistance from a technician of AVG. And now it becomes very weird. During the remote assistance session the problem mentioned above did not occur. When the session with your technician was closed the problem was there again. We (your technician and me) have done several sessions and always the same strange behaviour. I also reported this strange behaviour to AVG. I don't have any idea what is going wrong; I don't understand this strange behaviour. I don't know what to do about it. Please help me.

Dear sir / madam,

Many thanks for your response. Good to hear from you that your level three technical team is working on this issue. I hope they can solve this problem and I am very curious what the exact cause is. I will wait for their reply.

Kind regards and many thanks,

Dear sir / madam,
Thanks you for your response. Yesterday I did exactly what you wrote in your answer. I executed "AVG Remover" as administrator and also the new installation of Antivirus Free. Still the same problem.
What to do now?
Kind regards,
Alje Bakker

You are most welcome, Alje.
Thank you so much for understanding.
The cause for this will be analyzed and explained by our team via email.
We appreciate your patience again.

Can you confirm the arrival of the files which I generated by your tool AVG_SysInfo.exe?
Thank you.

Dear sir / madam,

I am curious if there is any progress in solving this problem. In the meanwhile we are now two weeks further. Can you give me an update of the status?

Kind regards and many thanks.
