I recently had some work done remotely by AVG Premium Tech Support after my Internet Security Suite went red letters and said no longer protected but will reprotect after reboot which it failed to do. The Internet Security was re- installed remotely, the laptop generally cleaned up with several antivirus programs that I was unaware of, being removed. This cost me $280.
Now when I start up my laptop I get a popup …Avgui.exe application error…The exception Breakpoint…a breakpoint has been reached… (0x80000003)occirred in the application at location
0x6a19ccd7. It takes ages to boot up now
What are the implication of this.
Does this mean that AVG internet security is not loading
How can this error be fixed.

Let's disable AVG temporarily and launch the Microsoft applications. To do so, refer this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Disable-AVG-Antivirus) for the instructions.
If the issue continues to be the same, we request you to contact Microsoft support as they have specific tools and resources to resolve the issue.
No blocked apps. Maybe I have to reinstall Office??? Got any links to do that
Richard, did you check whether it is listed under "Number of programs sleeping"?
There are 24 programs sleeping. MicroSoft Visual C++ is the only Microsoft program in that list.
After several hours of uninstall and reinstall … I am on satellite broadband 8.6mbps… It all works fine again.

How do I get a screen shot jpeg less than 1 mb?. I did a print screen and copied that into Word , but that is obviously not what you want. I took a photo with phone of the screen error message but that is 5mb.
Also how do I get jpeg as opposed to jpg.
I am using Windows 7 on a HP Pavillon dv6 .
I am reasonably competent with computer stuff.

Before I uninstall AVG Internet Security, I also have AVG Password Protection, AVG PC Tuneup and AVG Driver Updater . Should I uninstall and reinstall these products as well?

I spoke too soon. I am unable to open Microsoft Word or Excel programs. No pop ups or anything. They just do not open.

Other programs like notepad , skype and cad drawing are ok

Yes, it will be best if you remove and reinstall all the AVG programs installed on your computer.
You can download the latest version of AVG programs from your AVG MyAccount.
