We are sorry to hear that. To fox this issue, we suggest you to reinstall or repair Visual C++ Redistributable file.
* Download installation package of Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
* Repair the x86 version of this package.
* Restart computer.
And then check if the AVG program works fine. If the issue persists, then we suggest you to completely remove and reinstall AVG from your computer.
