Hello Del,

I regret for the inconvenience caused. It seems that the AVG program got corrupted due to a recent update. Please uninstall the older version of AVG from your computer control panel and install the latest version of AVG Internet Security from this link: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Protection and activate the product using the license number you have.

When I activate my AVG software, I get this message:

avguix.exe - bad image

C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\Framework\1\avgcmlx.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0x000012f.

How can I correct this?
