Back up firewall configuration

I've been struggling to solve the crashes for several months with no luck. Some other firewall programs I believe offer the ability to back up your configuration. Or at least they have in the past. AVG should offer the same option now.
With regard to backing up the many CFG files, are they protected from being overwritten if I attempt to replace them with a backed up copy?

You could backup files starting with fw from c:\ProgramData\AVG2015\Cfg\ folder.
Wouldn't be better to solve those crashes?

Is there a way to backup avg firewall configuration. My configuration often gets corrupt if the pc crashes and I have to rerun setup of AVG internet security in repair mode. Otherwise, internet access is blocked for everything.

You will probalby need to disable AVG Self Protection first.
If you provide us with diagnostic output (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe) I can try look at crashes.
