oneVPN issue has arisen after doing banking a couple of times, when i first used it - my bank locked me out, I was visiting the branch to find out why, and a young man behind me interrupted saying "are you using a vpn?" He said that that was the problem. the Banks algorithm was identifying me as a hacker! The bank officer agreed. I had to reset my bank passwords, security details before i could again log on. The solution (they said) was to turn off the VPN before logging into the bank. Has anyone else come across this?It seems an oxymoron to disable security to log on to a bank?
Hello Michael,
Yes, most of the banking sites doesn't allow anyone to access their site using VPN.
Hence, it is recommended to turn off VPN to access those sites and visiting those trusted sites will not cause any problems to you.
Thank you.
