Hello Kai,
I understand the inconvenience caused, I am sure we will be able to fix this together. Lets try a few troubleshooting steps. I request you to change AVG Firewall network profile to private (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > firewall > customize > network profile > change all the network public to private) at first, please go to Firewall customize settings again > scroll down > click on system rules > enable all the system rules if it's not configured, please click OK and check if you can play the game with enabled AVG Internet Security.
Best regards,
Alok.
Hi there. got my first ban from a pc game. Played "playerunknows battleground", got perma banned a few hours ago. Since then i am trying to find out what might have been a problem.
Other community told me that different anti virus programs can cause problems cause game files are put into quarantine or other actions might happen.
Are there any conformations on this ? Anyone experienced my issue before ? I contacted the game developer and i am hoping that they look into their files and might see that i did not use 3rd party tools to cheat or anything else.
Also i am playing since weeks that game while AVG is working in background, did it updated lately ? any changes that might cause trouble ?
thanks for informations…
Kai, at this point I request you to disable AVG component one by one (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components) and check which AVG component is blocking your online game. If the issue still persist, then please disable AVG Internet Security completely (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > troubleshooting > turn on passive mode) and check if you can access your online game.
Best regards,
Alok.
Well i changed everything. Dont know if i wanna keep AVG when i get a new game account. So right now i cant play because i got banned. Means that my account is closed no matter what i do now. Just wondered if this is a common problem for online games. The anti cheat software of the game developer got triggered by something. And i am not running many programs in background and of course no 3rd party tools to cheat or use macros. It has to be AVG or some kind of malware that messed with my game files. I cant think of other options right now…
