Hi Colin,

We're glad to help you with the info.
Upon checking your previous post, we see that our colleague has provided the steps to access quarantine on Windows, since the operating system wasn't mentioned in that post.
You can access Quarantine on MAC by clicking the Computer tile in AVG program, then click Open on the Quarantine tile.
If required, you can also check the steps that are mentioned below 'Manage quarantined files' in this article.

Thank you for trying to assist with the issue I have concerning not being able to view   items that have been scanned and placed in quarantine.I am using the free version AVG Antivirus on my iMac.
Unfortunately the AVG interface does not have a Menu tab at the top right corner or anywhere else on my screen.All that appears at the top right corner is a symbol which advises that   my system is connected to AVG.

Thank you both for your kind assistance which has been very much appreciated.
I have now freely accessed quaranteed files which have accumulated over several years and wonder whether it is best to leave them where they are or to delelete them all together.

Colin, Quarantine is a safe place in AVG Internet Security and AVG AntiVirus FREE for storing potentially harmful files and completely isolating them from the rest of your operating system. Files inside Quarantine cannot be accessed or run by any outside processes, software applications, or viruses. So it is your wish whether to leave them in quarantine or delete them.
