AVG Guru
Quite frequently pop up ads for avg additional products pop up in lower right corner of screen which are very annoying. I am currently using AVG Antivirus free. Usually you can click an x to get rid of it but the other day instead of deleting ad in automatically installed something. Not sure what but possibly something like pc performance or tuneup or something like that which I do not want as I already have other fine products that I like and use.
Since then I have been unable to play Battlefield 4 or Battlefield Hardline without disabling avg?!?!?!?
I only found out the issue when on the crash message it said something about avg and dll. I disabled avg and hey presto I can play those games again.
I know I am not the only one with this problem but cannot see a fix for this as people are getting private messages to fix it apparently. Apart from disabling avg every time I may have to use another antivirus.
Any recommendations for fix or another antivirus?
I have used the AVG Remover tool and have uninstalled all of AVG and then reinstalled as suggested however it has not worked. Still get error message as you can see below
