So, I've been using the free version of AVG Anti-Virus. But just recently upgraded to full protection. The only real issue I have is that AVG won't seem to let Battleye (anti-hacker program) to run properly. This is conflicting because I want to play games using Battleye as their anti-hacker tool. I uninstalled AVG completely and had no issues with Battleye after that, then re-installed AVG and the issues have come back. So what to do?
Jan-Joel, we realize the situation and will provide few steps to change the Firewall settings.
This should help in resolving the issue.
Open AVG Internet Security interface.
Click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components"
Click on customize of "Enhanced Firewall".
Click on "Network Profiles", to the right click on the network connection and change the profile to "Private" if it is set to "Public".
Check the status with "Battleye" application and report to us.
Hello!
I had the AVG free version and just recently upgraded it to full. That's when the problems started. Tried disabling AVG components, but to no effect. Even when I turned of the AVG completely, I got the same error message from Battleye. "Failed To initialize battleye service:Driver Load Error (1450)". I've searched and tried every type of fix the internet has offered, from re-installing Battleye, the game it is affiliated with (PUBG), my Windows 7, AVG Antivirus, turning of AVG Antivirus completely, but none of them worked. As soon as I uninstalled AVG and removed all components, the error message dissapeared. When I then re-installed AVG Antivirus, the problems came straight back. So my thoughts are that AVG Antivirus is blocking Battleye from launching as it probably thinks it's malware. Just a thought.
Thank you for updating the status.
Glad to know that your issue has been resolved.
Feel free to contact us if you need assistance with AVG.
Have a nice day!!!

Hi. Just checked the settings.
The setting of the profile is set to Private allready.
Have also made special application rules for Battleye on the "Enhanced Firewall" under the settings "Application Rules" section. But still, won't allow me to launch Battleye.
But, when I uninstall AVG Internet Security, Battleye has no troubble launching.
