Hello Roger,

I am sorry to know about the issue that you are experiencing with Skype.
I guess that the Skype is not getting updated due to technical issues.
Have you checked with Skype support regarding this update issue?

The avg tells me that my skype is outdated, yes well it is and it is not getting updated, many bits of the 8 series either do not work properly, are missing or a load of junk I need like a hole in the head. I do not want the "opportunity" to connect with those "suggested", I do need to send messages to mobiles, and so I stopped the skype 8 series. Best that can be said about it is it is cow poo or worse. I went back to 7.40.0.104 due to soooo many problems and an appallingly poor client workability it is not what one would call user friendly.
