Could you let us know the current version of AVG Installed on your PC? Open AVG, click Menu -> About to see the version details.
When was the last time you uninstalled and reinstalled AVG Internet Security? Did you encounter any issues during the process? Did you restart the PC once after uninstalling AVG and before installing it again?
The behaviour shield is sometimes on. sometimes off. If I notice it is off and switch it on it stays on. It can fail to start at bootup but other times it starts fine. I have tried the Uninstall/Repair option to no avail.
