Big Sur 15.0.1 and AVG Internet Security (Multi-Device)

Hello Craig,

We will check this for you. We released a newer version of AVG Internet Security (v19.7) that is compatible for Big Sur OS. Please check if you have the latest version of AVG installed. If not, we request you remove the version installed on your computer and click on this link https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Use-Mac-AVG-AntiVirus to install the latest version of AVG Internet Security.

If the issue persists, please let me know and we will assist you further.

Hi Karthikeyan,

I have exactly the same problems. I reinstalled v19.7 and the issue persists. Running 11.0.1 it is not possible to get my mail accounts online after activating full protection. If I deactivate web and email protection it works.

How can I go online with my email accounts with protection?

Hi all,

Looking for some help. I recently updated to the Big Sur OS on my Macbook Pro and since then I have had the same issues as everyone else… the "We're sorry. There is some problem on our side. We'll fix it as soon as possible" error, and essentially everything is red and not protecting.

The responses to these issues seem to suggest an update, but the app didn't like this, so I followed AVG instructions from advice threrads and uninstalled the app, and then redownloaded the app from the link within my subscriptons page on the AVG website (I needed to sign in for this), and I assume this gives me the latest version.

However still no joy, and now the app also won't let me sign into the app to connect my email and account so it can see I have a subscription, and of course the original issue is also still there.

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
