Billed for no subscription!

You've been charged CAD 198.99 for AVG Ultimate on Nov 03, 2019 as auto-renewal service was enabled for its initial purchase. We can assure you that we have not processed any unauthorized payments from your card or account. We sent a pre-billing notification prior 30 days of subscription's expiry. We are sorry if you haven't noticed it.
It looks like there is some error with your AVG account, hence the subscription is not listed. This could be rectified by our senior team and would like to clarify that this doesn't affect the functionality of the product.

I just received an email saying "Your subscription has been renewed". I don't remember ever subscribing to AVG. Then when I login the page says "You don’t have any subscriptions. How about getting one?"

My credit card was charged. What is going on here???

Please have the senior team correct the problem. As it is I have no access to the subscription and I can't change anything.


I definitely did NOT receive the previous notification, and I checked in my spam folder as well.

I NEVER got the renewal notice, It is not in my inbox or in my SPAM folder. Here is the screenshot.User-added image

On verifying our records, we found the renewal notice was sent to you on October 4, 2019. This e-mail contains information on the date of charge and a link to cancel this automatic renewal.
We need a screenshot of your AVG MyAccount page to escalate it to our senior team. Please attach the screenshot in reply to the e-mail we sent now.
