This morning have charged me a full renewal subscription fee for AVG (£74.99). I have received no renewal reminders that you normally send out. None of my contact details have changed so why no reminders? I have now asked for a refund of the full amount via the website, but no acknowledgement to say that the request has been received and being dealt with. Quick enough to take the money out but slow to respond to a refund request.
I am a pensioner on a limited income and this charge has placed me in a difficult situation and I need that refund quickly and the uncertainty of not knowing what is happening is adding to the stress of the situation.
I will be cancelling my account with AVG upon receipt of the refund and not renewing it. Shame on you AVG for shoddy administration and putting a pensioner in a worrying position. Please redeem yourselves and refund my money quickly.
