Billing Complaint

This isn't the experience we want you to have. We'd like to look into this & clarify. 
From your description, it seems that the charge isn't from our end. 
However, upon checking your account, we're unable to find any subscriptions/charges.

I stopped using Total AVG and it's products a year ago and requested that my account not be renewed.  Guess what, it was auto renewed for $162 in one month and then an add on renewal for $78 two months later.  I am confident that I had no idea at the time of subscription that the annual renewal would cost $240.  Rather than refund the subscription fees, I was only able to get a 50% refund since I was outside of the 30 day period, even though I was requesting a complete cancellation.  In other words, they can't cancel your subscription – you can only request that they remove your account from auto renewal and hope that the subscription auto cancels a year later.  This is an unacceptable way of doing business.  To add fuel to the fire, I did not receive any emails indicating the subscriptions were scheduled to auto renew.  My advice, NEVER use Total AVG for any of their products.  They do not have above board billing practices!!
