.bin file is missing, fix doesn't work AND manual download link is broken

I'll keep that for future knowledge.
Ironically, this issue has been present since last night starting at 10pm.
As I went to the link you sent, my AVG attempted an update at 9am (one minute ago at this writing) and it succeeded.  Someone must've fixed the server.

Hi guys,

Wonder if someone can help. My AVG was saying it was updated but was still giving me prompts to update and AVG menu would not display as updated etc. It would give me pops up on Windows asking me to update too so every time I tried it would not. I reinstalled and then began saying a bin file was missing so I did the URL - default and then Manage - delete temp files, restarted bla bla. Ive hit a wall and I don't know what to do now. If I can't figure it out I need to find another alternative but don't wanna surf without anything!
