Last night, multiple pop-ups flashed on my monitor. They disappeared so quickly, that all I could read was "deleting file XXXXXXX" (file names appeared to be system files). Concerned that my system was somehow becoming infected, I pulled my modem cable and shut down my computer. About 15 minutes later (after rebooting both my modem and router), I restarted my computer. A Windows Security pop-up notified me that my firewall was turned off. I immediately went to open AVG Antivirus and saw the message, "Upgrade to Activate" and that my AVG Antivirus 2015 had somehow downgraded to the free version.
I received and installed my 1 year subscription on 3/11/15 so (obviously) I have quite a few months left on my subscription. I see that there are more than a few assorted renewal complaints listed, so what is the problem? How do I fix this?

Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
After the remover tool process is successfully finished, I request you to restart your pc.
After the restart, I request you to manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of Mycomputer.
Later, please reinstall your product after that and you will be good to go.
