Have you tried booting your PC into Safe mode once?
Are you using the free, trial or paid version of AVG program?
I have the same exact issue!!! Only I am using the free version. But I have to get into my computer ASAP!! Reboot is not helping, it just goes back to the black parameters screen.

I have this below issue. Using 2016 AVG AntiVirus Protection on a OS 64 bit. Laptop will not start only gives this error message on a black screen. How can I fix it and get my laptop working again?

I have the paid version of AVG.
I was able to get in using Safe Mode.
Can I use the AVG removal tool while in Safe Mode?

In both cases, the computer must be able to boot system from this device.
