Most of my desktop icons look like blank pages as a recent post, mostly the AVG HTML and AVG PDF documents. This happened the day before yesterday. Could you please let us know how you suspect that this issue is caused by AVG?
Have you got any notification or pop up recently from AVG?
Have you performed any recent windows update?
We suggest you to temporarily disabling AVG AntiVirus protection and check if you still face this issue: | AVG (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=disable-avg-antivirus)

Sorry, that did not work. Nothing happened After "Once there, tick the box next to "Computer," then click "Apply" to place it on your Desktop."
You do nderstand that the icons do appear with a label but the icon itself is like a white flag as shown in the screenshot above.
