BLOCK ALL INTERNET ACTIVITY setting?

Hello Hayden,
If you want to block a website then you can open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > online shield > customize > block website/site. You can also go to Settings > components > firewall > customize > system rules > change the AVG Sensitivity to low (it will help you to block all the browser internet access). However, may I know why you want to click all Internet Activity.

Hi Alok

The reason for blocking all internet traffic is that i noticed some suspicious app behavior and wanted to quickly cut off the connection. I know i can disable the network card or just disconnect but AVG used to have the handy setting built into the task-bar icon that was only two clicks away - and so simple. Why remove it and the other taskbar setting options?

Also, how do i stop AVG opening, when i do a file/folder scan from context menu, if there is nothing detected?. Another setting that used to be available but now seems buried too deep to find.

I realise the AI movement is in full swing at the moment but you need to give more control back to the people who want it - and pay for it.

So, where is the setting to BLOCK ALL INTERNET ACTIVITY, please?

I understand the inconvenience. We would like to inform you that on AVG 2017 the option for allowing and blocking applications is available.
Please open the AVG user interface, click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components"
To the right scroll down for Firewall and click on the arrow mark that is on the right side. (Don't click the Customize option)
In the drop-down, you can find the option as "Application rules"
From there you can choose the application and allow or block the internet connection for that application. Also, I have noted the feedback regarding AVG User Interface.
