I have just received this same error requesting I either "BLOCK APP" or "ALLOW APP". I found this question and as it is not actually answered, thought I would look for the GameBarFT.exe file and submit it.
It is supposed to be in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay_3.36.6003.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe<br>but access is not easy. I tried giving myself permissions, and found myself at a window titled "Permission Entry for Windows-Apps". At the bottom of the window there was a caution "This access control entry is corrupt. Delete it and create a new one."
So, while I do not see how to proceed with the deletion, I will allow AVG to BLOCK APP.

Just got a message 'We've just protected your file' message. GameBarFT.exe is trying to change or delete the file XBOXGAMINGOVERLAYTRACES_FT_20200714170817.txt.
I'm assuming this is a safe file to allow but just checking here.
