I can understand that you are getting a pop-up on your PC. May I know at which instance you are getting this pop-up? Is it coming up when you use your browser? Please, attach us the screenshot (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot) to better assist you.
I can get rid of it by rebooting, but it keeps coming back.
Is there a way to get rid of it permanently?

JIM, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
