May I know how did you install the hardware updated? Are you able to access internet when AVG Internet Security disabled?
It's not the hardware. It's down to the AVG web shield turn this off in settings maybe due to a possible windows security update conflic from the latest windows updates but it's not my job to do their job for them 
After installing some hardware updates to my pc today I am no longer able to access the net while I have AVG running , any suggestions to solve this would be much appreciated
