I too am having an issue where i have blocked a program that "threatened" my webcam…it turns out i have now blocked the webcam program entirely. how do i go about reversing this? i have tried disabling avg - nope. i have tried reinstaling the cam - nope.
please help

I'm sorry to hear about this. Please open AVG Free Antivirus > menu > quarantine. Look for the blocked application and try to restore that. I also request you to disable AVG (Right-click the AVG icon in the system tray next to the clock > Click Temporarily disable AVG protection > Choose how long you want the protection to be disabled and then click OK), after that please check if your web cam is working fine.

AVG Blocked a programme that was trying to access my web cam. I clicked on Block, but it turns out I need that programme to access the web cam so how do I unblock it?
I have AVG basic with no firewall (most options I've researched seem to advise going to the firewall button).
