Since you managed to get my renewal for AVG installed last week I ahve been unable to save any JPEGs created in Photo Shop. The following message comes up -
The file is locked.Use the Properties Command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file.
This does not work - can you tell me how to unbloack saving the files please.
Hi Brian,
This shouldn't have happened due to AVG Internet Security program.
Please open AVG Internet Security program.
Click on "Menu->Settings->General->Blocked/allowed apps".
Check whether photoshop is listed under blocked apps.
If yes, please remove it and add it to allowed apps list.
You can also entirely disable AVG Internet Security as mentioned in this article and check whether it works.
Keep us posted.
I tried this - there were no apps listed under either allowed or bloacked (ie both were empty), I added Photo Shop to the allowed but this did not help. JPEGs are still blocked. I suspect part of the problem is due to the take over by your tech people of my lap top to install and verify my AVG renewal but this involved 3 different techs before they succeeded. The first 2 times they got part of the way through the process then their internet connection dropped.
I suspect it needs someone to go back into my laptop and check to see if everything is correct.

Hello Brian,
It's good to know that you have managed to resolve the issue. You might have clicked on the AVG program again when the allow pop-up occurs earlier.
We just want to restart the PC once and check whether you can save the JPEG file. Keep us updated.
