AVG started blocking a website that I usually go to, it's a webstore and I get the "HTTP ERROR 404 - Not Found. The document could not be found. Please try again." Error.
The website pings okay, so I know it works, it just won't load for me specifically. I've tried repairing AVG and disabling the firewall and web protection, but it doesn't change anything.
I run the latest AVG Internet Security with full paid license. Why can't I see which websites the program blocks? It's insane.
Hi
The website url is www.brallis.se as you can see on the second screen cap that I included in my previous reply.
I'm aware it's possible that it's not AVG that's causing it, but so far I haven't seen any evidence that the site is actually down, it seems that it's the browser that cannot load the page. I just want to be sure that it's not AVG.
I tried loading the site through my mobile, but I got the same result. If I can be sure it's not AVG then I'd have to assume there's something else going on.
Thank you for providing the screenshot Hannah,
May I know the website URL which you want to access? I also request you to check if you can access the same website in a different computer.
Regards,
Alok.
Hannah,
You're correct, AVG is not blocking the website as you have already checked that by disabling AVG. It seems the issue is with internet connection or the website.

Alok.
Alright, thanks for the help. I wasn't sure if I had to uninstall AVG completely to be sure.
Hello Hannah,
We can certainly take a look into this and determine if the issue is due to AVG or not. May I know if the issue is resolved when AVG protection is disabled? Right click on AVG system tray icon and toggle the On/Off slider to disable AVG protection.
I also request you to share a screenshot of the error message.
You can post the screenshot here on your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Best regards,
Alok.
