Blocking camera & microphone

Hello Rajen.
We are sorry to know that. We will check and help you to resolve it. Please try to Adjust sensitivity in AVG Internet Security settings and check the status.

Refer the below steps to know how to adjust sensitivity :

1.Open the AVG Internet Security user interface and click the Privacy tile.
2.Click Settings (the gear icon) in the top-right corner.
3.Ensure Full Protection ▸ Webcam Protection is selected in the left panel, then use the drop-down menu to define Webcam Protection sensitivity.

The following options are available:

1.Smart mode: Automatically allows trusted applications to access your webcam. If an untrusted application attempts to access your webcam, a notification appears asking you to allow or block the application. After selecting an option, the application appears on the Blocked & Allowed apps settings screen, where you can view its status and select additional actions.

2.Strict mode: Notifies you every time any application attempts to access your webcam and allows you to decide if the application is blocked or allowed. After selecting to block or allow an application, the application appears on the Blocked & Allowed apps settings screen, where you can view its status and select additional actions.

3.No mercy mode: Automatically blocks all applications that attempt to access your webcam.

Please set Smart mode and check whether camera works fine. We look forward for your response.

I notice support is either very quick, which is good, in responding and then asking so many additional questions and NOT fixing the problem.  Or taking a long time to reply.

This is my observation and I do not need AVG explaining wny they need the info etc.  I just need my issue fixed or I will move on.  My problem is every time I use MST, AVG blocks my camera & microphone.

How can I manually control my camera and microphone access.  Thxs
